Hi i am located near Greenwich GT, this rack works on all 65-70 cars no spindle changes needed as they use stock inner and outer tie rods.
I changed my set up because like a fool i converted my brakes to hydraboost, they work great but the pump and rack with the hydraboost isnt right as the brake unit is robbing too much pressure. With the new TCP stuff i can adjust all of the flow on the rack and pump so i can get everything dialed in perfectly. price is pretty firm and if you want the bracket and lines that will add another $150 the line are aeroquip stainless with all new aeroquip fittings. let me know. I havent even removed the system yet because of the heat wave this week i should have it off.
I am not sure if this rack n pinion will work w/ my '69 Mustang because the '70 spindles are larger than the earlier models. Where in NY are you located? I'm in the Mid Hudson area.
Hows the overall condition of the setup? Why are you changing the Randalls rack out for the TCP version?
Are you negotiable on the price? Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks
