My car is a Classic Roadsters replica on a tube steel cobra style frame. It is all mustang II running gear and has a 302 with a 4 speed. 8 inch 3.0 geared rearend. The car was originaly built by a veterans group as a parade car in 1986.The red gel coat faded bad in recent years so I have it apart for paint as well as 12 inch willwood front disc brakes, 11 inch rear disc (power) and a major show dressup on the motor. It also has cobra style sidepipes ( custom made as they were never available with the kit) which I had jet hot ceramic coated (they were black painted and peeling before). The car is very fun since with the even stock 302 4bbl iron headed motor, with the 4 spd at 2200ibs it hauls pretty well. The car was 4 lug with some old funky 80's wheels, but is now 5 lug and will be wearing torque thrust II 17" wheels all around. Since the glass body has cobra style fender flares in it the wheels look very good on it. BTW it is a replica of a 65 healey sebring 3000
Just saw your post about your Austin Healey build. I've owned 3 big Healeys, restored 2 of them. Biggest mistake was not keeping the 66 Bj8. Which model are you building?
