Mr and Mrs Dodgestang will be attending CF this year.

Our plans at this point are:

Leave Wednesday 20th early AM.
Arrive at corn Feed Hotel hopefully around 5-6pm 21th

The actual days of the event are Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th.

We will leave for home early Sunday 24th and arrive home late on the 25th.

The 18th and the 26th are extra days I took off to prep (as in rent/pickup/drop off trailer and car stuff)

We are planning on meeting up with Gary (GRRR) who will be traveling with us on the second day. Any local members who want to go in a caravan style are more than welcome to bunk with us the night before and set out all together, or we can set up arrangements to meet up along the way.

I am from that area, and would like to go, not sure if the Mustang (66 coupe) will be ready by then.

Anyone offended by an 2005 Magnum RT joining the trek?

Let me phrase it this way:
5th gear doesn't kick in until 90mph.
I think I'll be fine Thought maybe you'd drive the ride out there.

I was thinking about it, then I was also thinking about racing it, I decided it was better to tow it and race it in case I break it on the track....I have a history of these things

Besides truck has AC

You get a good breeze under a tractor trailer.

If you're going to run it on the track, towing it is best.

Trying to get the versailles rear under mine, and finish welding the drivers shock tower in place. Also 1 spot of firewall to patch.

Any ideas if a stock driveshaft will work with a c-4 and 9". You'd think it would but I don't have a 8" rear to measure the depth.

Alot to do before end of July...

curt - I couldn't tell you, but I suspect it will be close enough to work. The 9 has a little more depth to it

Do we have any definitive drivers going beside me from the region? Should we have a meet up place and time to caravan out? My plans still stand..leaving early AM Wednesday.

As you guys know, Illinois is smack in the center of your trip to Nebraska. Its right in the way! The whole state!

The Chicago Chapter is planning to leave the area about 9 AM and drive straight through to Omaha. This should get us there by dinner time....

Wanna cruise?
