Is there any really good reason not to just use the Mustang Steve quadrant and adjustable SN95 cable? Can't you just fab your own firewall brace out of some flat stock?

You can do that for about $100. Thoughts?

Sure you could. Steve has plans that he sells which instruct you on how to do this. I think they use to be about 15 bucks. Very reasonable.
