Does anyone have any experiences they can share about local auto body/paint locations in the Bay Area? I'd like a nice job done on my "restomod" 65 Fastback without breaking the bank to do so. Not much body work involved, primarily paint with some stripe work down the middle.

I would HIGHLY recommend the guys who worked on my car. Marco is the name with J&M auto customs. Great to work with and really take pride in doing quality work. The results can be seen below (and it looks even better in person). His number is 925-229-3819. Tell him Jason sent you.

Cheers,
Jason

Benicia? Small world...
The shop down on Military by the Clocktower does nice work. They gave me a quote of around 7k. Too much for our budget so we did it ourselves.
Solano College has a course where they teach you to paint and use their paint booth at the college if you want to go that route.
