Griggs GR350 suspension, cage, backseat delete, built 4.6 DOHC & T56 with Webbers and side exhaust.

Looks: 67 Shelby hood, Terlingua paint job (Flat black & electric blue), 17" Foose Nitrous, Scat seats, Shelby 1/4 windows? Small mustang badge in the grille ala shelby.

Really unique: Keep the stock apron and bumper setup and build smoothie chrome bumpers, then add a brushed aluminum adjustable front splitter. Delete the stock bumperettes, use 67 rear marker lights in both front and rear, painted body color. Shave the dashpad, build a brushed aluminum 6 gauge panel with S-W gauges and crinkle black trim, and put a brushed insert on the glovebox.

Minitub it and psuedo-flare the fenders ala Boss 302 and stuff the widest tires possible on it.

It's fun spending other people's money.

If I got another '65 Fastback for my next build, I'd basically make an R-model clone that appears basically original at first glance, but would be equipped with such mods as an aluminum Dart block/AFR head/Weber 48IDA induction stroked 351W, Griggs suspension with SLA front setup, through-floor subframes as I'm using on my current '65 street clone project, and keep it all non-power/no AC. My main goal would be to have a great show/autocross/roadrace car.

I have nothing against using modern technology in vintage Mustangs, but I just like to keep a vintage car fairly vintage.

Ditto that, with some Maier Racing flares front/rear and basket-weave style 3-piece wheels.
