At what HP level should a sub frame system be required. Not for racing but for a street machine.

Seriously though, with any engine in your car you'll benefit from subframe connectors.

Yep, subframe connectors should be a must have for all non-concourse Mustang restoration projects.

Personally, I like the Maier Racing subframes, because they attach at two points in the front and two points in the rear. They also don't reduce ground clearance much at all.

sub-frame connectors do more than prevent frame twist from engine torque. They add a great deal of structural integrity to the unit body reducing shakes and rattles, and provide a more rigid platform for the suspension to work from so it works better in everything from drag style launches to corner carving. IMO, they are just as important to improving handling as a Monte Carlo bar, export brace, and shock tower reinforcement.

That is what I have and they are a work of art! Worth every penny. I am so glad I decided to put them on.
