I just got my new tank and fuel line and I know it would come bent for shipping. I got the bigger 3/8 line and don't want to kink it when I straighten it out. I know some of you have done this and was wanting some tips.
TIA. Joe

They make a line bender. I usually use the handle of my floor jack when bending. The problem is trying to get that sucker straight after it has been bent. I'd go to a parts store and get straight line.

Joe,

Unless you're bending it at a sharp 90, you'll be fine. The mild steel tubing is pretty pliable. To get it straight, lay it on the floor and "walk" the bend out of it by stepping on it.

That is what I did. Nice to have another person to hold one end. The trick with straight tube that is slightly bent is to roll it on the ground but with pre-bent tubing you can't do that.

I never got mine completely straight but close enough for my picky aXX!
