I have a disc brake swap on the front done with GM calipers, stock rear drums, and a 83 Ranger Disc/Drum MC 15/16 bore size and an adjustable valve on the rear brakes. The system is bleed as well as the MC. Pedal does not work till it is just above the floor. Any ideas?

Are you using the stock MC pushrod?

Make sure rear drums are adjusted so they have a constant slight drag. Then check pedal again.

The rear brakes adjusted tight againist the drums and there is no change in the pedal.
