Default Need to raise the air cleaner a bit?

Forgive my stupidity as I have never had this problem before now. I am using a braided fuel line from the fuel pressure regulator to the edelbrock 600 and my ford racing air cleaner with a k&n filter is sitting a bit crooked because it hits the braided line going into the side of the carb. Is this what I need to fix the problem?

Don't know about the diameter of that ring but if the hold down threaded rod has an extra 1/2" on it, should be fine.
Just be careful the first time you close the hood.

I had a somewhat similar problem with an Edelbrock and a line something like one of these worked for me. Summit part
It tucks close to the carb an allows you to attach your fuel line/filter down and away from the aircleaner.

thanks, I'll check the rod to be sure.

If you've got a stock intake manifold and the hood clearance I would just use the air cleaner spacer.
