Default Boss head oiling on 460 block

Whats the best way to run the oil lines from a 460 block to original Boss heads? In the heads I used a 1/8"npt to -4an, then a 90* fitting on that, but the 90* fitting hits the intake. There doesnt seem to be any interference between the fittings in the block and the intake, though I may replace the fittings in the block for a little extra clearance. I tried a 90* 1/8"npt/-4an, but there isnt enough room to screw it in. About the only thing I can think of, besides clearancing the intake, is to use small tubing like that for an oil pressure gauge with compression fittings at the end. My only promlem with that is that Ive had the compression fittings lose their grip on the tubing, which of course makes an enormous mess. Heres what Ive mocked up so far (click pics to enlarge).

Looking from the top, passenger side head would be fed by drivers side of the tree, and visa versa.

Maybe a 90* npt brass elbow from a plumbing or hydraulic supply store would work? You could put an npt to -an adapter on the elbow after the 90* turn so it doesn't stick out from the head as far.

This one is 1/8" npt on both sides, and is available at most auto parts stores.

Why not use NPT brass fittings like Rickmaan suggested and just use steel tubing instead of the AN fittings? Less connections, less chance of something going wrong. Since the head is bolted solidly to the block, there isn't going to be a need for vibration absorption or radical expansion/vibration.

Thats pretty much what I did. I got it to work fine. Just need to weld/solder the fittings and drill a .040" hole like the HP blocks had so the heads dont flood with oil.
