Default Has anyone seen 65 or 66 fastaback with quarter vents filled.

I am in the process of redoing my 66 fastback. Reshooting it black with all flat black accents. I am debating on using the shelby quarter windows or filling the vent opening entirely. Any pics or input is appreciated.

The 65 R model GT350's had a piece of aluminum riveted over the vents. It looks somewhat like the pic in that fellows race car.

Most people seem to just put in the 66 GT350 plexiglass windows.

At least with the windows you improve rear visibility.

Funny you should ask, just received the latest issue of Mustang Monthly with that exact scenario. IMHO, it looks pretty good-

IMHO I would either use the Shelby windows in place of the louvers or leave it the way Ford made it. I do not like it with the louvers filled in.
