Here's my 1965 Mustang with a 302 and flowmaster 40s. It's still pretty loud. I have long tube headers and 2.5" pipe all the way back. It's not welded on yet and I also need an H pipe too:

Allright, here's my 347 with Magnaflows

Here's a few clips of my '67 fastback with homebuilt 347.

11:1 compression, small custom hydraulic roller cam (220/230ish with .570 lift), Canfield cylinder heads, out of the box Holley 770cfm Street Avenger carburetor, Hooker Cometition 1 5/8 headers and Magnaflow 2,5" dual exhausts with X-pipe.
The car is a little loud for my taste, especially at WOT.

Another 6er!

Mods in the signature, mufflers are generic turbos.

These sound fairly quiet/mellow for 3" or is it just sound that way in the video? Looking to quiet down from my 3" Flowmasters without tailpipes.

OK, I'll play...
302/5.0, E303 cam, 600 carb, Tri-Y headers, X-pipe, 2.5 pipes, front in/out Dynomax SuperTurbos, oval Dr Gas tips.

Mine is homemade headers, 2.5" Hooker maxflows, 2.5" tailpipes. The BW S475 helps quiet it down too.
