I'm working on a solution to this so you'll be able to move the inner wheel arch right back to the frame rail and gain an inboard 2-3".

No, its our own creation that works with leaf springs and our 3-Link. I like the Fays 2 watts link but I didn't feel it was beefy enough out on the frame rail ends to support 100% of the lateral loads when the leaf springs are gone.

Shaun,

Is it possible to run a Magnaflow 3" exhaust system over the axle with your setup?.

Regards
Morten

Shaun, I know you mentioned that there was no parking brake, but could a Wilwood spot caliper be incorporated? I would like to use this axle but need a parking brake for street legality. I used these spot calipers on a FFR Cobra build and they held well enough for a parking brake.

John,

The 3-Link can use the stock type rear ends (so whatever brakes you wish) OR our Full Floating 9". If you want to use the Full Floating 9" System it doesn't come with a park brake so you'll need to fab something. I can ship you the housing un-painted if you wish so you can add a bracket to hold a spot caliper.

I've got my set up ordered, Christmas presents from Me to Me! I opted for the Sport flavor, frame rail mount, with the Full Floater housing. I've looked foward to this since I saw the concept on the web site. A little more waiting, and then its mock-up time! Thanks to Shaun for comming up with all this suspension stuff!

I noticed on your site you mention about a fuel cell. Can you take a look at this sleeper tank from Glenns Performance and let me know if the in/out will cause issues with your setup?

Scott,

That outlet/return may be far enough over to clear the Watts Link frame work. If you can get me a dimension from the lip of the tank that rest's in the trunk floor down and over to the fittings I should be able to give you an idea if it'll clear.

Hi Shaun,

The measurements are as follows.

Down measurement from the lip:
5.5" to the lowest
4 and 3/8" to the hightest

Across from the outer edge of the lip (not the edge of the tank itself):
6 and 3/8"
8 and 1/4"

Thank you,
