Default Clutch cable T5

I've searched the forum and found a lot of people using kits from mustangsteve,, etc...

How many of you have found an aftermarket quadrant and cable from a fox body or SN95 for your T5 clutch? I want to believe I can get a quadrant, weld it to the pedal and install a cable.

Anyone out there try this? Where did you get the quadrant? $300 seems a bit steep for a kit if I can fab something up on my own.

Steve sells the quadrant by itself for 69 bucks, and you get instructions with it. Then you just need a cable from your local auto parts store. He sells quality stuff.

Thanks. I'll look into it.

SN95 clutch pedals, at least the later ones (~'99), have a plastic quadrant. The quadrant is actually on a shaft, and sits over near the gas pedal. I have an assembly laying around I can post a picture of if anyone is interested.

I'd like to see how that works. I'm trying to figure out if there's any other quadrant would work.
