Default 67 Coupe in deep impact blue

My car was painted several months ago but I finally got around to taking some pictures of it. I de-chromed it as much as I could and went for a smoother clean look. The door handles, tail lights, and antenna are shaved. I did away with the rocker molding, deck lid moldings, drip rails moldings, and emblems. I smoothed out the bumpers and painted the reverse light housings. I really like color. It really pops in the sun and is dark and subtle in the shade or in the night. I know it isn't for everyone but I like it and thought some of you might enjoy the pictures.

Default Beautiful color, beautiful bodywork

I would have kept all the brightwork and I'm not a fan of super shiny wheels - I like a little gray/unfinished look in there - but that's a gorgeous paint job and the body looks very straight. To each his own, though - you did a fantastic job on the body/paint IMO.

I was originally going to get polished aluminum wheels but when Coys was doing my shipment they called and said that they didn't have any polished 17's in stock and didn't plan on getting anymore so I could either get polished 18's or chrome 17's. I got the 17's

I like the factory chrome but got to say your ride does look good.
I would tint the taillights. Black on that blue would look good. IMO

Very nice, seats stick out like a sore thumb though. Needs some darkening of something on the tail panel IMO. Looks great though.

ya the seats are ugly. They have been a temporary solution (going on 8 years now) because the ones that the PO put in were thrashed. They are so dang comfortable though that it frequently gets postponed.

Thank you for the pics! I've been searching for a couple of weeks for pictures of a 67/68 in Deep Impact Blue as that's what I was hoping to paint mine in the spring!
