Default 4 Valve (per cylinder) heads... any available?

Other than these guys: Aluminum Cylinder Heads Exhaust Manifolds Engine Blocks

Anything else available? I'd imagine with 32 valves total, the intake and exhaust would benefit a ton with the right supporting mods. So, why don't we use any 4 valve heads?

Because it's a $6,500 conversion?

Wow, really? I'm surprised there aren't any plug and play heads out there. Seems a bit odd for a design thats been around for awhile.

Well, that's the price I've seen for the 4 valve 351 Cleveland heads. Yeah, it would be cool. But it's an expensive cool. And it's a non-starter with racers because those heads likely wouldn't be permitted in any class where a Mustang, or iron V-8, would run.

With that much cost, effort and departure from a stock config, most would just jump into a more modern engine. That cost will get you into a DOHC mod-motor wich has all sorts of other benifits.

There is about a 30CFM flow gained as compared to the stock oem heads.....but the real question you would need to ask is what size valve do I need to achieve the required flow for my application. Mutiple valves are great if you need the flow & that is the only way to get it....but most don't require that level....and secondly, for the cost, can I get the same power output for less with other mods...

Well, that clears things up then. Haha. I won't be going that route, just the typical 2 valve alu heads (probably ford racing Z ported.
