Has anyone has experience with a spec stage 2 and the king cobra? As I've said on here before I put the spec stage 2 behind of my "mildly" built 289 and it just seems like wayyyy to much. My question is how does the King Cobra feel with a cable clutch?
I had a King Cobra with a cable clutch. It didn't feel very good at all. The pedal felt kind of spongy when pushed down and the firewall would flex, not sure if thats related to the king cobra or not. I swapped out the cable for the hydraulic because I melted a few cables. Like ZPD said, it feels great with the hydraulic.
I had a king cobra hydraulic clutch setup in my fastback. I had a 425hp 331 Keith Craft motor in it and it held the power fine. With the hydraulic clutch setup the pedal effort was very light and smooth.
