Glenn's Performance...awesome tank and lots of options. Sweet 22 gallon sleeper tank. Just make sure to get the correct sending unit (1970).

I got mine there along with the complete fuel kit. He doesn't always get back to right away, but he's there...I don't think its a large outfit, so there isn't someone manning the phones 24/7.

I got the complete kit. Not sure if you need everything or just the tank. Extra $100 for stainless steel. If you want a kit, just pick one and he will just use the correct tank in the kit. Also, you can all black fittings which was a must for me...well, not a "must", but I didn't want the red/blue fittings.

I can get you some pics of mine if you want, but he has some pretty good pics on his site.

If and when I switch to EFI I'd prefer the pump in the tank. I've been looking at the Aeromotive 18688 pump kit. I would pair it with a new 22 gal. fuel tank. Granted it's not inexpensive but cheaper than a custom tank like a Rick's.

Oh crap. I want stainless too. Guess I'm back into searching again.
I like that Phantom setup, but I'm going to have to try and get over sticker shock before I consider pulling the trigger on that one. $550 and I still have to provide a tank.

I thought the same thing but when you add up a tank ($400) and then you have to buy an external pump, then it's pretty close. I'm in the same boat. I have a brand new (stock) tank so it may be the best value for mine....

That's my car in the link. The tank is a first class piece.

I had two install issues:

One: You have to drill your own mounting holes... and if you've ever tried to drill through stainless steel, you know what I'm talking about. I probably ruined 5 bits drilling the holes.

Two: The filler hole didn't match up to the 65 neck... I ended up cutting the filler next down a bit and finding a large flexible fuel host to span the distance.

I ran -6AN supply and return lines to the tank. All the connections, including the fuel sending unit is on top of the tank...

Here is a pick from last year:

Phil,

I clicked on this initially to recommend the "guy" to contact you to buy your old fuel tank. LOL. Then to only realize your still searching. Among all the other costs your coming into I can only imagine the frustration. If it makes you feel a little better knowing that misery likes company. Check out the $2600 custom 911 fuel cells to be FIA legal.

Ill be reading your email in detail with response asap.
