Default Made Sub-Frame Connecters this w/e

I had off work Monday so I finally made it to get some tubing. One more thing to mark off the list, well half a mark, there not installed yet.

They look great! Lots of skill there.

I'd like to see some pics when you get them installed.

Nice productivity. Look a lot stronger than most being sold. Will these go through floor like TinMan's or will these be entirely under floor board? From frame to frame in the air or will you have attachments to floor board?

Thanks guys, I'll be sure to post pics when I get them installed.

LUKESPORTSMAN: These will be completely under the floorboard. They slide inside of the front framerail and will be mounted to the bottom of the rear frame rail, they reach just below the leafspring mounting bolt. The 5 brackets that are welded to each one is where they get welded to the floorboard.

I think the floor board "tie in" is essential to adding torsional rigidity. Yes, please follow up posts during/after install.

Nice work. I made my own some time back and thought about having brackets on the sides. Didn't like the "tacked on" look though. So I drilled holes in the pans and rosette welded the pans to the bars from the top.

They look familiar!

I welded some small pieces of angle to the sides every so often and welded them to the floor (After I had permanently mounted them in the car).

I've been wanting to do alot of mods like this to this car but I had been usually building stuff for customers and by the time I was finished with their stuff I really didn't have the ambition to work on my own. I haven't been doing much fab work for others lately so I'm finally in the mood to work on my own stuff. I want to make a set of adjustable strut rods and build a simple coil over set-up for the front yet, hopefully I have that done and the engine back in by spring time cause I'm feeling THE NEED FOR SPEED!!

TB350, I'm in Chambersburg. Don't know if your into dirt latemodel racing or not but if you look at the pictures on my garage wall you can see a racing hotshoe from York.

Very nice work.

I added 'wings' to my CE subframe connectors and those GREATLY improved the rigidity of the car.

I located them so they would weld into to back step of the seat support.
