Default Help aod with street demon carb

Hello i am thinking of purchasing the new street demon 625 cfm carb and i know the demon instructions say it does not work with a aod . After looking at summit racing and noticing all the Tv-corrector brackets wether for edelbrock or holley the gm 700r4 transmission stud is the same as the ford aod on the throtle linkage . Now on the throttle linkage for the street demon it has a hole for the gm 700r4 -why can it not work for the ford aod.

P.S i just spent 20 minutes on the demon tech line and the guy on the other end was no help at all he said "we only test gm transmissions " i explainted that if the street demon has a hole for the gm 700r4 then it is the same as the ford aod for correct cable travel??.

Help has anyone installed a street demon carb with aod --and yes i have the lokar cable kickdown and throttle (previously installed on a edelbrock 1406)

thank you

Have you considered QuickFuel or AED carbs? If you can QuickFuel, they'll tell you which of their carbs are right for your application.

I second the notion that you look at other carbs. I was happy to get rid of my last Demon carb
