Post Your Top 10 Mod/Upgrade List

Ok, since it is a Friday and none of us want to work I figured why not post your top 10 mods/upgrades you have done to your Mustang. Also post your next/current mod you are planning on doing.

I am hoping this sparks discussions for members who are deciding what to tackle next.

Mods/Upgrades:
1. T5
2. 8.8 3.73LS with discs from a Explorer
3. Granada front discs
4. Arning/Shebly drop
5. 4G Alternator, Serpentine belt & pulleys
6. Cluster upgrades: Voltmeter, Tach & LED bulbs
7. Mustang Steve roller bearing upgrade kit on the pedal assembly
8. Duraspark II ignition with small HEI cap and wires
9. Edelbrock Performer RPM & 600 cfm carb
10. 15" Magnum 500 rims with BFG tires


Next on my list:
1. EPAS (just starting this mod)
2. Hyd Clutch
3. Engine upgrade



68 Coupe, 289 4 barrel, T5, 8.8 3.73LS rear w/disc, Granada front discs, Arning/Shelby drop, Vue EPAS

67/68 Ammeter to Voltmeter upgrade with how-to

68 289 with factory water pump, Serpentine upgrade using Ford parts

My car is still under construction, and I am doing my best to keep it stock looking. Here is my list of hidden or stealth mods/upgrades:

Pertronix Ignitor III
Stroker Kit
Cam kit
B&M Trans Kit w/TCI stall converter
Power Door Locks, Power Trunk Release (remote fob controlled only)
Viper alarm W/GPS tracker
Full LED lights except Headlights & Lucas Driving lights
Arning dropped OpenTracker roller front suspension , Prothane black suspension bushings for everything else
Evens Waterless coolant

The not so stealth:

Sanden AC compressor
JBA Shorty headers, JBA 2.5" H Pipe to 2.25" pipes (including resonators and transverse muffler to the Shelby Exhaust Pod)

1)Replaced Powerjection 3 with Fitech Go EFI 8 system, installed and tuned by FiTech this week

Wow I love alot of the upgrades on this thread and they are on my todo list. My favorite upgrades that I did are below.

1. Foxbody seats- Took my love of driving the car to another level
2. opentracker full suspension- Felt like a death trap before
3. Mustang steves power brakes and roller brake pedal assembly
4. I was hesitant to put granada brakes on here, I am sure they are better than drum but nothing like a newer car. I am looking forward to upgrading to wilwood or cobra brakes
5. Vintage LED's all around- tough to rank these
6. I have to put the cooling system on here as i can drive all day in south florida heat with no issues. Champion 3 core and 16" electric fan
7. I have to say putting a CD player in the glove box paired with kick panel speakers and 6x9's in the rear deck, added fat matt and mass back carpet and i can actually hear the stereo over my flowmaster 40s while driving 70.

4. 2" Mini-tub rear (to allow for the 335-30-18's)

9. Unisteer power rack and pinion W/ modified cross member mount
10. Battery-less passenger side apron

Deleted drip rails
Front fender mods to cover a 275-35-18 on a 9.5" rim
