I'm preparing to get into the exhaust install stage of my build. 67 fastback. 289. long tube MAC headers, H-pipe(MAC tail pipes), I've decided to go with the Borla X/S mufflers.
Question is: center inlet or offset inlet on mufflers.
Deal going on Amazon , now on the mufflers. So I'd like to make correct choice.

Headers aren't on yet. Trying to do everything at once.TY,

side inlet, center outlet. Side inlet allows you to get the mufflers away from the driveshaft. Are you running a single or dual stock exhaust currently? you may need to also change your brake cross-over line to the rear end (on a single exhaust) and purchase a dual exhaust brake line to the clear the outlet pipe on the drivers side.
