The scoops are designed to be open, but on occasion we have customers wanting them closed. If
you look at the underside closer you will see the vents are even boxed in for a cleaner look. We leave no stone unturned

Interesting, I always thought the louvers were one of the best features of the 67-68 Shelby. Mainly because it was functional, providing escape for hot air under the hood, improving cooling. Corvettes, Trans-Am Firebirds, 'Cudas, and others had similar vents in the fenders.




Amateur restorer. Well, sometimes I have been paid for it. But not right now.

I like the louvers on the 67-68s, but don't think they'd look right on a 65. I ultimately went with a 65 hood with the 67 Shelby hood scoops.
