Don't forget the biting wind!

Sometimes I think that this swap meet should be moved into the Better Living Center at the Big E...

Just dreaming I guess... But wouldn't it be nice?

Is this thing any good? My sister lives right down the street so I may make the trip... but Englishtown is not long after and should be MUCH better.

Well, it`s no Hershey/Carlisle. And I`ve never been to Englishtown.
I have been able to find some pretty good stuff on occasion ::, and I`ve been burned :: too, seen a LOT of junk that people actually try to sell.
I can usually cover it all in about half a day.
I`ll be there

....as I've always called it:

Stafford Motor Mud Pit

ALWAYS rains day of or before or in this case, the entire week before!

bring your galoshes, it's gonna be a messy one!

I'll be going. I ususally find something I need. Generally alot of Mustang stuff. If enough of us VMF'ers are going, maybe we should meet for a cup of coffee at the snack bar....

Well, just got back from the swap.

Swap was a little lean this time, probably only 70% of the available space was taken and the crowds weren't bad at all. Probably because of the gloom-n-doom forcasts that have been floating around. Only a couple spots of mud, weather was nice, didn't even get drizzled on and no wind!

Picked up 3 trim rings for my 15X7 steelies for $6!! :: :: Couple of them still had the D0ZA tags on them. ::

Also got a couple Holley 600 parts carbs for $10 and a T-5 V-8 bell for $5.

Really wasn't much else that was I was interested in. Lot of the usual stuff, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, bald tires, Chevy parts, etc etc.

Was a 69 Mach in the car corral, "R" code 428 CJ, auto car. Car looked like the body was done, was all cut in (Black Jade : and ready for paint. Mostly complete interior, no motor/tranny for $6500. Didn't really inspect it thoroughly, but didn't seem to be a bad deal since the hard work was almost done. Heck, toss in a 351C and drive it like that til you accumulate a 428 to make it correct....

BTW: May 2nd, CSRA swap meet at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT 7am to 4pm...

Cya there!

Boy, you got THAT right :p
I got a nice little engine cradle on wheels, I seem to have too many engines
I picked up a nice 9" carrier with the 2 vertical ribs like an "N" case.
Got a couple late model front calipers and brackets to experiment with
missed out on some stuff I wanted, got some stuff that I thought I could use, but I can`t...
Anybody need a rear wing for a `95 and up? Doesn`t fit my Fox
