Default The Mustang Shop in Calgary, brutal!

I've giving the Mustang shop a few chances, not any more..

was away for the All Star game in Ottawa got back last night, checking out of the Hotel and my Visa was declined for $1,200.00 for a couple of rooms, so last night online I see a charge of $370.00 from the Mustang shop WTF, so this morning via fedex I received a dash pad that I never ordered, called them up and spoke to Bruce, he said that he will speak to the person that took the order and call me back, three hours later I call back, Bruce says that fedex will pick up the package tomorrow and bring it back to them, Okay, please credit my Visa today! Bruce says no can do, he has to wait until he receives the dash pad back, I lost it! but Bruce wouldn't budge! A-Hole!

turns out the person who ordered it has the same last name as mine WTF

this is the second time The Mustang Shop billed my credit card without my knowledge or reason too!

The second time I'd call visa on 'em, and the dash pad would get booted outdoors (not your problem, you didn't order it). I am pretty forgiving but 2 times and potentially f'ing up your weekend; then making you wait (as if he didn't trust you) then I'd post on every mustang board I could find. They should be offering you something for the trouble and aggravation/embarrassment. (like next order at cost, buyone get one free, a teeshirt, something) Yeah ok maybe I am a little redneck, but I get really pissed when someone messes up then won't fix it until I jump over the hoop.

I understand mistakes but you can't tell somebody they can't have there money back until they get there mistake back.

I usually order from the states but thought I would give a Canadian company some of my money, my first order with them back in december the guy was calling me crazy for putting a clutch fan on a 390 because they didn't come with clutch fans, he owned a 67 390 and it didn't have a clutch fan, could be possible (well it could be) but mine came with a clutch, so I ordered the clutch and they sent me a fan, they sent fedex back to pick up the fan and would not send out the clutch until they received their fan back, then they sent out the clutch and charged me for shipping again.

I wish everyone would stop buying from them.. Not going to get into it again but The Mustang Shop sucks when it comes to dealing with people. Its fine to talk crap to a customer and lose one because you've got so many... Well hopefully the time will come where enough people stop buying from them.

wished I was aware of this, there's a thread in here saying that they're good! NOT!

still don't have my money back!

but I just placed an order with CJ's and will fill the non stocked items with NPD, the problem I find with NPD is the freight to Canada is pretty high, otherwise great service and inventory.

That's funny.. They once charged/shipped me something as well without my consent.. I phoned to ask about a part (just asked about it). Next thing I know, it shows up.

Yeah, i ordered about 600$ worth of stuff from them. They shipped 200$ worth of stuff and would ship the next half later. Well 8 weeks goes by and they are holding my order because of a battery hold down clamp.... The guy i called said that it doesnt make sense to hold the order, we will just ship the clamp to you when we get it in so you can have your parts ASAP. I waited another week and no shipping number; because they are still holding the order for that clamp! I needed that stuff for the following weekend and they finally gave in to delivered the items overnight with the clamp that just happen to get there in time for the shipment.

In the end of the day, they would not admit that they were in any wrong, they told me that i was delusional and told them to hold the order for that clamp and never offered to ship the clamp alone...

Customer service does suck! I order from CJ pony parts now, they have so many promotions and the prices are so fair that it ends up being cheaper than TMS anyways. The bonus is their customer service is incredible.

I will not order anything from TMS again unless i know it ships out the next day.

update.. still don't have my money back.

called them last Thursday and they received the mistake back one week ago but it was lost in their back room but they found it that morning and issued the credit on my credit card, again they were completely satisfied with the way they handled this transaction! well it's Wednesday and still no credit on my credit card, I really don't want to talk to them again because I just lose my mind when I do, if I don't have the credit on my card by Friday I will have to call Visa and have them reverse the charges and cancel the credit card!

actually I'm heading to Toronto this weekend and need my credit card so I'll cancel it on Monday what a hassle!

my card was credited the full amount last night, the Mustang Shop keeps your Visa on file, I would highly recommend calling them and having your Visa removed from their database if you have ever purchased anything from them in the past with visa/MC

The whole thing is unfarkingbelievable, and I can't believe what they do/did is legal. I hope Visa gives them hell.
