Yep, I got a 1995 Ford Ranger Pickup for only $200. It's a 5 speed with 2.3L engine and it seems to get 20+ MPG. I had to get an airbag and some front end plastic, but I figure I basically stole it. I think she forgot an extra zero on the craigslist ad.
In other news, I'm going to fire up the project car now that the edelbrock intake and carb are installed. Just need some gas and earplugs.

Hey, I just got it started and it runs well and loud. It was loud enough to have my neighbor across the street come out of his house with two beers and we toasted the event.
Thanks Danno the Edelbrock 1406 works great. I still need to order a throttle linkage.
Very exciting. I like it. I'll get some exhaust pipes now.
