If you could trade up

What would be your next dream car?

I like the looks of the GT40 2005/2006

No dream, but reality.
I've sold the Mustang (no bucks in the bank yet) and am looking for a new toy. A light weight 2 seater is on the radar......something more modern that doesn't require much wrenching. I'm old (70) and my hands & wrists are even older. They've been talking at me regular like.

I have always lusted after a Pantera too. A few years back, I had the chance to sit in one at a car show. So much for the dream, couldn't fit in the car. I am 6' 4" and my head was jammed into the roof. Darned little Italian designers.

Back in the early 70's, a family friend owned a Lincoln Merc dealership and had a couple on the lot that they couldn't give away. I think they ended up taking them to auction and dumping them for nearly nothing. What I wouldn't give for a time machine.

New Porsche 911 GT3RSR with emblem delete, no need to show off.
There is no substitute.

Either a B9, a GTE, or a 2014 GT500...

I've always wanted the GT40 and the Pantera. Almost bought a couple of Pantera's, but have the opposite problem of the earlier poster. I'm 5'7", and my face is pressed into the windshield. I've heard the car was designed for someone 5'10", and anything else requires modification to seats, pedals or floorpan, depending on which direction you are from that. I recently sold my '07 Shelby and am regretting it, so I guess a new(er) GT500 would be my dream car now.

Not sure if I want to trade. I feel very fortunate to have the cars I currently have. I guess if I could I would want to trade my 70 MACH 1 for a 69/70 BOSS 9. That is my true dream car.

I find it hard to get excited about the new stuff but that new GT350R would be pretty sweet, or a new M3.
