Silver springs - 2008

I was planning on going until they announced the MCA National show at Pensacola. As much as I would like to I can't afford two trips to FL this next year...

I'll be there as long as I'm not in KY for a horse sale. Live right here in Ocala and have been going for a few years, right about not much to do here, but there is a couple of decent bars around, partying at hotel is usually the safest way to go. What i've seen other groups do is once having checked in will park in the lot and gather up together,then line up and all drive in single file, that preaty much gets them all parked side by side.

I just got the December Mustang Monthly and it had some info on Silver Springs, including this about the NPD cruise:

The two-day show also incorporates a cruise to Cedar Key from NPD's main warehouse in Ocala on Friday, January 11. Participants should gather around 8 a.m. for the driver's meeting, and the cruise departs between 9 and 9:30. After a short trip up Interstate 75, cruisers exit and travel back roads through Ocala's horse farm country at easy driving speeds on the way to scenic Cedar Key. The trip takes about 1½ hours each way. At Cedar Key, participants can eat lunch, peruse the shops, or enjoy the views of this small fishing community before returning to Ocala. Once back in Ocala, cruisers are welcome to check out NPD's car collection of more than 140 cars.

I was planning on doing the cruise anyway, but this sounds great. Is anyone else planning on doing the cruise?
