I am located in East/Central Alabama on South Lake Martin 30 mins from Auburn/45 from Montgomery. Interested in meeting up with fellow Mustang owners and perhaps organizing a 'fix in'. I have a small machine shop with lotsa tools and would be interested in swapping asstistance for assisitance! I have a 67 Fastback that I am doing a mechanical restoration on and any help would be appreciated.

Excellent!

I'm on the South shores of Lake Martin. Selma is not a straight shot to get to or from but I think maybe about 90 mins give or take.

I just got my car moved to my primary shop, started setting up the motor on a stand and started cleaning up the interior and the chrome. I pulled the back seat and the gas tank yesterday. I have some time this week so I'm trying to make some decent headway but in the coming months I hope to find a couple 'Mustang friendy' folks to help me drop the motor in and sort out the details towards firing her off.

I have server that I'm about to close or I would post some pics... maybe in the next few weeks when I get everything switched over to my new domain....

Aahhh...

Technically I am in Dadeville but I am 15 miles south of town off Hwy 50 near the Martin Dam.

Does the Montgomery Club have a website? Do you have details on the upcoming event?

Early 16th b-day present, eh?! Pretty cool.

My dad bought a 67 Fastback for me as incentive to get good grades when I was 15. IT WORKED!! I had one of the coolest cars in school.

Good to know there are a few Alabama VMF'ers here.

I'm set up for motorcycle cylinder work only. I specialize in bore, hone and sleeve of these style but most everything I work on has to have handlebars on it! LOL

I am a machine shop supervisor at Kelly Aerospace in Montgomery, though and might could find you the right guy for the job. Where are you located?

I'm pretty new here but I'll pass the word along. The machine shop is pretty seperate from everything else. I do know we have a TON of fasteners, hardware etc that we stock for assembly.
