I'm gonna look to get some quotes to do some floor/frame rail work on my newly acquired '65 'Vert.
I know of Gordons in Dallas and found a place called OMI in Woodstock.
Any other places or suggestions?
Check out this place, Cobra Restorers. They are just about 5 minutes from my house. It's a very small shop, but the work seems to be good and the guys are personable. I haven't hired them, just stopped in to shoot the breeze.
I had Patrick Kelley of Kelley's Restorations look at the car. He used to work at Metro years ago but has been doing things on his owne for awhile. He seems to know what he is talking about and does good work.
He's working to give me some estimates.
Mike,
Have you settled on anyone yet? If you want, I can get you the name of the guy that did my friend Randy's triple black 65 vert.
Dave

OFI classic cars 770-592-4477 in Woodstock,GA. (http://www.georgiaclassics.com ) Just finished up my 66 A-code. They do awesome work! great group of guys... Call Phil tell him Devin sent you and he will set you up right.
I'm dropping the car off at Patrick Kelley's of KelleysrRestorations tomorrow night. I'm not getting anything major done...clutch and trans inspection, parking brake install and maybe door lock replacement. I could do the locks myself but time is tight these days.
I may be selling the 'Vert as I've found another classic I may enjoy more. We'll see.
66 sleeper...good to know about OFI. What work did they do to your '66? It looks great. Do they charge by the hour or give you an estimate and try to stick to it?
