By Sunday I was so sore. I did not go to the strip at all, too tired after walking around the show all day. There were so many scooters and such you had to constantly be careful of being run over. At one point several had stopped in one of the isles that they totally blocked foot traffic in both directions. I'm not sure how the cars were arranged, they seemed to be mixed up. Old and new, rat rod next to classic. There was a fenced in area between turns 3 & 4 that had a very wide mixture and then another by the pond that had mostly better looking cars. Car Corral, I'm not really sure where its boundaries were. There were long sections of fencing that separated areas so you could not easily cross from one to another, and some had gates, but they were chained shut. There were lots and lots of vendors. CJPONY was supposedly there, but I never found them. Lots of food as well. My first meal there Friday was a cheese burger that took 1/2 hour to get and was the size of two silvers dollars. Saturday I got a pork sandwich on a real sandwich bun and it was overflowing. Took less than 2 minutes to get and it was good. Drinks were $2.50 to $3.00 for water, soda or lemonade. Overall I think it was a nice show, nice to see all those classic cars out where you do not normally see them anymore.
Did anyone else see all the burnouts by the turn 4 tunnel exit Saturday evening?
