Default R U faster than a Redneck?

This is a new show that will be airing on Speed next month. If you haven't seen the preview here is a link.

For those that are in the Irvine area, Camaro Performers is putting on a world premier of the show the day before the Run to the Coast event. It is free to attend so make sure we get a bunch of Novas out there to represent.

Several very fast cars in there that I have seen in Good Guys events here in nashville. I had the chance to ride along in one of them. It was a blast.

It's funny that they play up the 'Rednecks' as being the underdogs.

Bumping this as I am watching back to back episodes now.

Have to say all the call on there just look mean. Can live without the rivets on the hood of the 66 mustang but love the color.

Hotrod mag did an article about the show here Roddin' @ Random - RU Faster Than A Redneck? - Hot Rod Magazine but I still cant find any in depth specs on the cars. Would love to see what they are running suspension wise on a few of the cars.

haha, that looks awesome. Car Craft did a special where they took their 10 second chevelle and just added nice tires and wheels to it and took it to a roadcourse. It did decent in the turns enough that the horsepower overtook anything on the straights.

Isn't it racist to refer to white people as, well, you know...

It depends on who's saying it and in what context.

I was born in raised in SC and I'm not offended by the term redneck. Rednecks are portrayed as being dumb but that's no more true than saying vette owners are yuppies or cobra owners are snobs.

The episode that ended with the Bullitt car getting beat by the Audi wagon was a good nailbiter. It seems like all the Muscle Car drivers just arent smooth and saw at the wheel thinking horsepower will win the race for them. When the import out brakes them they seem to forget what their car will and wont do and spin it out with the brakes locked. They need some better Redneck drivers with more experiance. IMO. Some of these MC should not be getting beat.

I think most of the races are staged otherwise the muscle would win most if not all the races and nobody would watch.
