New guy from CA

Hello everyone! My name is Alex and I'm in Bakersfield CA. I've always secretly liked the 65/66 fastback even tho Ford was a bad word in my house.

I have a couple GM F-bodies (69 & 92) and I'm looking for a Mopar E-body (72-74) for my oldest son who will be 18 this summer.

I joined because I'd like to find a 65/66 fastback for my younger son who will be 14 this summer. I'm hoping to find something that needs no metal work, has a complete interior (even if it's in boxes), but is just a roller. Then we can do the suspension, drive-train, and interior finishing ourselves.

I'm a man of little means who works hard but it will all be worth it when on day we are all 3 cruising in our primered old pony cars We all want to do the old Trans Am race car look and just leave our cars in primer and just have fun with them. My 69 is done, my oldest knows exactly what he wants to do with his E-body, and the Mustang fastback will be a surprise for the youngest. I mentioned it in passing but he just has no idea what he wants, so I would like to expose them to GM, Mopar, and Ford. Maybe someday we will get an AMX haha! I guy can dream can't he

Welcome. Good luck in your search. If your plan comes true you'll have one from each of the big three.

A rust free early fastback has a hefty price tag these days. Post pics of your other rides!
