New to the forums but not new to Mustangs. My first car in 1976 was a 1971 Mach 1 and I also had a 1967 Fastback a few years later. I've regretted selling both Mustangs for years so I recently bought a 1967 Coupe and I'm enjoying it.

My current 67 is in pretty good condition physically but needs some help mechanically. It has a 302 4bbl, headers (not sure of year yet), a Top Loader 4 speed with Hurst shifter. Originally a 6cyl 3 speed car so making changes is not an issue for me and I want to hot rod it up a little. It does ok now, but my 2006 GT is quicker and I want to change that.

Welcome to VMF! When they dropped the 302 in there did they also upgrade the car to V8 specs elsewhere? 4 to 5 lug etc?

68 FB 302GT in progress, really.

Yes, it's got 5 lug 68 GT wheels on it. Still has drum brakes and manual steering, but planning on doing the power disc front brake conversion soon.
