Hello

Hello peeps

I am new to the vmf. I am in the U.K., about 5 miles from the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

My hubby and I are restoring a 68 fastback. I bought the car about 7 years ago after years of talking myself out of it. He (my car) looked fairly solid and it was a runner. Came in from Baton Rouge. Stripped him down ourselves and sent him off the the shot blasters. Needless to say he came back a lot less!! No front end, although his firewall was good. No floors other than transmission tunnel. Needed new rear quarters, but hey his roof was good

Bodywork done. Paint on (the purests will hate me) Kona blue. In my eyes, he is beautiful (just because I swear at him, doesn't mean I don't love him).

Interior fat matted, new aa wiring loom in. Carpet in, pro car rally front and rear (rear seats needed a little work to get fit right). TMI one piece headliner ...and here is the problem....how the hell do you fit the rear upper trim with one of these? I mean the top trim that runs across the roof at the rear window. Any helpful suggestions very gratefully received.

Thanks
Emma

Welcome to VMF!
Two suggestions. Post a few pictures of it, and drop the "peeps" thing forevermore.

68 FB 302GT in progress, really.

Hello Emma, welcome to the forum. I have no experience with TMI so can't help you with that. You can try contacting them directly. Pictures would certainly be helpful.

Do we have to post the Peep pictures all over again? Even the anatomically correct Peeps?
