my 67

just purchased a 1967 Mustang coupe. Problem I am having is getting vin# for vehicle id. The number on the title im guessing is the vin then others say it is the warranty number. The number stamped on fender apron is very hard to read and not 17 digits like it should be. Just trying to identify the vehicle....where it was built, paint color,engine,rear,etc....

please help us

1967 VIN's were eleven digits, not seventeen. The warranty number was also the VIN number. You can submit your VIN to Marti Auto Works and order a vehicle report, get the deluxe one. www.martiauto.com to get a "Marti Report".

Welcome to VMF. Like stated above the older car VIN'S are only 11 digits.
