Default New texan on here

Im new to the forum from the Midland/Odessa area...Just thought I would finally sign up since I have gleaned alot of useful info from this forum. That and being born in 1987 with a car born in 1966 makes some stuff difficult to figure out. Anyways I have a 1966 springtime yellow 289 2v w/ 3spd tranny 1 prev owner 50k orig miles minor dent in pass door minor dent in roof needs paint only rust is in the door corners so far...Also I drove it home from that owner

Count yourself lucky when it comes to figuring out how to work on your Mustang. When I started with my first Mustang, all I had was a book with some nice static black and white illustrations. Al Gore hadn't yet invented the Internet. I love this forum because everything technical I've needed to know has already been discussed on here. I mostly just read and post for the entertainment value like welcoming new members.... so Welcome to VMF! Mabe we'll see you in person at a car show in the future.
