Daily driven 65 Fb breaks into 6's 1/8 mile

https://youtu.be/mZOiME2JDjU

Finally , after an undisclosed amount of money , repeated failures and missteps , infinite amount of curse words , busted knuckles , and an unnatural obsession with speed , my homebuilt 65 Fb rewards me with a 6.8 at 103 mph run! Murder Mustang is my grocery getter and track car , driven to and from track . May not be a big deal to some hardcore drag racers , but its paramount moment for me !

Never ran the 1/8th - always 1/4 - but the 103 tells me that is fast!

Looks like the 125 shot N2o equals 100 hp to wheels for a gain of .6 et and 9 mph

Thanks , I was just curious my 331 runs 7.0hs , 1.50 60' @98+ or 10.15@123 on motor only. BUT I can't drive it to the track either! The 5.29 gear and 8" convertor aren't happy with a 40 mile one way drive. LOL

Nice work.

That T5z have a regular gearset or is it G-Force or something?

How's that spool in a daily driver?

Sounds fun.

I have been running spool with 4:30's for the past few months now. I do not drive it daily on the street, but at least once per week it sees street time. No issues at all, but if I do make a very tight turn, the tires do chirp. I have also learned that if the road is wet need to be extra cautious and in general not shift aggressively with my street tires.
