Default Trans Am style fuel tank

I am looking for pictures of the way the old Trans Am cars ran there fuel tank and fill set ups.. IE with an extension tube and a cone around the filler for spills and did they use the Le Mans flip top capthanks

I think the '67-8 T/A Coupes had some of the coolest fuel filler setups. I believe most '65-8 tanks consisted of two bottoms welded together, as found on the '65 GT350 R-models raced in B-Production. Check out #16 on this site - an excellent resource for T/A cars...

Default Trans Am style fuel tank filler

Guys, I just joined while searching for this topic on the internet. Here are some great photos of a couple of re-creation cars, the coupe with the TA filler set up for a fuel cell. Check the restoration photos, great work from Dave Mani. Thanks for the forum.
