Maybe 0.002" play in shaft, tight. Pertronix ran for 1 year. With instructions and old points setup. I would like to trade it for a straight 66 8" axle housing. Would also consider trading for rebuildable OEM UCAs, new front drums, 1" sway bar, rear sway bar, or other front suspension/steering parts. Talk to me.
I'm in Northern California.

Is this an OEM distributor with vacuum advance? I'm missing my entire dist. from my '65 289. Please send part number and I'll check my book. (It's ok if not '65, there is a newer replacement part number, or a '66 will work too.)
I will be pulling my entire '65 manual steering 289 suspension out to replace everything but the steering box and spindles soon. Just ordered all the new parts.

I have two new front drums with about 100 miles on them. They are finned 10" for 65-73 V8 Mustangs. You can email me at mjkent@comcast.net. Thanks, Roy
