I'm done tearing down my '68 289 auto coupe, and I have quite a few parts that are headed for a dumpster if no one claims them. Parts are in Citrus Heights (north of Sacramento, California) and are pretty much for pickup only, although I'm willing to ship paid.

The following items are available pretty much for the taking, although I won't sneer at trade items for them. Everything is in at least "usable" condition:

- (2) 2V heads, complete
- Crankshaft
- (8) Pistons & rods
- (2) exhaust manifolds
- Complete exhaust including Y-tube and OEM muffler
- Starter
- Alternator
- Oil pan, dinged but usable
- 2V cast iron intake
- (4) steel 14-inch wheels with crummy tires

Following items are for trade only:

- Rear valance, near-perfect condition
- OEM steel valve covers, excellent condition
- (2) complete rear drum assemblies from the backing plates out
- choke heater box (later replacement style)
- Front and rear bumpers, in excellent "driver" condition
- Autolite 2100 carburetor, recently rebuilt
- 5-blade (AC) fan

I'm looking for almost anything useful for a restoration, especially fastener sets, all weatherstripping and rubber, inside window handles, driver's inside door handle, deluxe interior door pull straps, overhead console, front and rear glass, rear trunklid and quarter molding, GT exhaust tips, hood hinges, dash pad, lower dash pad, A-pillar pads, deluxe door arm rests... If it's for a 67-68, new or like new, and preferably for a black interior, drop me a line!

I have a 68 Coupe restomod that I am turning into a full race car. Some items that may be of interest to you:

68 Dash pad with 65 Shelby Gauge pod with Autometer 8K tach and oil temp gauge.
68 gauge standard bezel with Autometer fuel pressure gauge with isolator mounted in clock position
68 Radio bezel with JCV 4 channel 22WPC AM/FM Cassette stero with automatic antenna and rear deck with (2) Jenson Triax 6X9 speakers
Many other things that slip my mind.
Let me know if you are interested in anything.
NOTE: Interior is blue

I'm in Maryland

Can you tell me the particulars in detail on your rear valance..."Near perfect condition"? I have a 67 coupe torn down to the bare shell. I have a ton of stuff, including a perfect rear glass. Although, the interior is Light Aqua. I'm in So Cal.

Valance is clean, straight, no dents, has one or two small nick-dings on lower edge that would hammer-&-block out in a minute. Ready to sand, primer and paint after that.

The mint rear glass is interesting, but shipping on both items might be a killer...

Not sure how big a hurry you're in, but I maybe up there in the next 2 months or so. I'm willing to trade. Let me know...

I can hold onto the valance indefinitely for you. I'll be at the stage of installing new seals and glass in anywhere from about 3 to 6 weeks. If my old front and rear glass polish up decently, I won't be replacing them. I think my rear has some hazing around the corners, in the inner layers, though. I'll definitely take the newer glass if the transport/shipping can be resolved.

The valance is yours unless you tell me otherwise. Subject to disposal after September 1st unless you give me a firm date for pickup or want me to ship it.
