I have a comp 268H cam I could trade for the water pump if its something descent. You would have to buy new lifters which would be around 65-70 bucks

Thanks for the offer but I am going to pass on the swap. Make me an offer on the pump. It was purchased at a local parts store.

I think I have a reverse flow timing cover, and I've been looking for an early (pre-'68) timing cover. Would you be interested in a trade?

The early ones had a round lump of metal for a timing pointer, like this:

I will check. Does your reverse cover have the mechanical fuel pump boss?

It has the boss, I don't remember if it's capped off, but it is there.
