Trouble Viewing Pictures

I am having trouble viewing pictures that others have posted. I can see the thumbnails, but they never load after opening the full size picture. This has never been an issue until recently. I am using the classic forum site, since the newer version is impossible to use. I have a fairly new laptop.

Uploading an image here for testing purposes.

Can you clear cookies and cache from your browser and tell me if it improves at all?

When I click on pictures including the one above, it turns black, you can "see thru it" but the picture never loads. Cleared cache and cookies, looking for suggestions. Thanks

What browsers are you guys using when you come across this?
Try giving your cookies and cache a good clearing, restart you browser, and give it another shot.

Richard.

I have no problem opening the pictures with the latest versions of Chrome or Opera (my go to browser). I abandoned IE because it is a real dog. Oh yea have no trouble on my iPhone (safari) either. Check your settings. Maybe you need to allow pop-ups?

If anyone is using IE, can you ensure your compatibility view is enabled for the site to see if that helps?

Tools > Compatibility View Settings > Add > forums.vintage-mustang.com

Thanks,
- JB

I used to be able to open images now when I click to open the screen goes black. I tried your suggestions but I'm still not able to open. Any other tricks you can suggest?

Nothing on your end. I pulled a couple more tricks on my end, but it didn't seem to take. We have a couple other communities experiencing the same issue. I've added this site to the list.

For now, there is a workaround - you can right-click on the thumbnail, and 'view in new tab'. It'll get you the full size view at least in the meantime. Alternatively, you can use another browser, though that is a much bigger change and we understand if you would rather not.
