Well, it just happened again. Same conditions, same link, same ad, so the whole reported/block thing doesn't seem to be working.

Also, I'm not buying the malware excuse. Of all the sites on the web that I visit, this one is by far the worst about this. Come to think of it, it's the only.

I apologize if I'm coming off as combative here. It's just really frustrating. Please feel free to tell me to go pound sand and I'll just install an ad blocker. Probably not what your advertisers want to hear but something has to change.

Is this happening on any other sites you visit?

Just did it again, this time with a new link.

Didn't come from any of the 14 other tabs I have open either. Just took over this one.

Hey guys,

Our teammate who looks into the ads and removes them is out until next week.
So you may be running into these ads until next week. Keep them coming in!

Richard.

Ok, so at least 10 days dealing with this BS and no resolution or even comment about the cause that isn't some malware dodge that clearly isn't the case.

Color me dissatisfied. I've heard people complain about AutoGuide before, and I'm starting to see why. I want to be a fan, I really do, but this stinks.

Please tell me something that makes me feel better about how you guys operate.

Just did it again:

http://updatelive.finishedupdatefree...d_UKUeu8vvGevA.

It's not a real flash update site. Clicking anywhere in the nav Just downloads some (probably virus-filled) .dmg file.

Never mind. After getting two more in quick succession, I gave up and installed an ad blocker extension. Shouldn't have to be that way, but this is ridiculous.

Sent those up to be blocked.

As Richard mentioned, our teammate is out until next week which is why you are still seeing them.

As for the ads themselves, they are rogue pop-ups which sites deal with. They are reported by the members and we block them.

I ended up doing the same thing. I also had to put one on my phone specifically for this site. Just got tired of it.

We're working on fixing it a.s.a.p but for the time being and ad blocker is a good idea. Sorry for the inconvenience guys.
