The site looks great. I'm happy to see it's moved away from the Craigslist look of the past.

One thing I want to comment on is the banner. The fish eye effect on the road with the obvious photoshopping of the cars and the street is a little off putting. However, everything else looks fantastic.

Maybe instead of using the same cars for the banner for months and years, you can have a banner car of the month. Have members submit photos of their cars, and have people vote, or choose the winner. The winner gets on the banner for a month.

I'm sorry @RyanSterling966 I stole your "marked improvement" line and didn't even realize it until re-reading the thread. my mistake.

Definitely like the New Posts tab. I use that one the most on SVOCA.

What I meant was . . another forum I visited went to a new software type . . . and there were options where you can change the viewing . . like the colors and such. I don't know anything about the website software out there and if that style still exists or not?? Just thought it was cool to be able to personalize the page view.

Do not recall, but on the old site, when you went to the next page of posting, and next and next, did the first few post on the 1st page that were tacked at the top show up when you went to page 2, 3, 4 and so on? If it did, it did not stand out as much as it does now, on my computer, there seems to be less post per page since these tacked items, take up so much space.

Much better on iPad. But you have the common issue with the keyboard not being stable until all the asynchronous threads on the page have completed. My guys can help fix this pm me if interested, and no I won't pitch don't need j/query mobile with PHP bb :-)

If you go to User Control Panel
then Edit Options and scroll ALL the way down at the bottom you'll see an option for "Forum Skins".
Choices are -default
If you don't like the new version you can can check those out. The Classic is just like it's been the last couple of years. The new look is OK but a bit bright in my home office. I find the slightly more subdued tints of the Classic forum a bit easier on my eyes without having to jack around with my monitor settings for just this site. If I could dial back the brightness of the new page I would never bother with the Classic version again.
New VMF logo looks kind of....not too good.
