How do you get the original drain plugs out? Mine seem to be seized as though they were installed with an impact wrench... Any tips would be welcome. I'm new to the forum.
/It looks like a hex head. I don't want to strip it. It seems like it's about a 7/16, but it slips off when attempting to turn it. The plug appears to be made of brass...
Drill a hole through the center of the plug, the larger the better but don't hit the block threads with the drill bit.. This will relieve some of the stress of the tapered threads.
Thanks, awhtx! I'll give that a shot this weekend.
