Knott's 2017

I know it's a bit early but mark your calendars now

The 32nd Annual.
FABULOUS FORDS FOREVER!.
Car Show
Knott's Berry Farm
Buena Park, California

April 30th, 2017

Registration for the 2017 show will open in January 2017.

For those of you unfamiliar with Knott's, it's a great opportunity to visit with and to meet VMFers as well as other Mustang and Ford reprobates at the SoCal venue. Last year the turn out was more than 1800 cars. Usually, the NorCal contingency caravans down on Friday and a number of out of state folks drive and fly in for the weekend. Great fun. Put it on your bucket list for April.

Just signed up. Is this the official thread? I want to coordinate with the other VMFers attending. Hotel preference, meeting up, dinners.

Seriously doubt my car will be ready for this year's event, but would very much like to be kept informed. Many photos/videos of the trip and the event by VMFers will be much appreciated.

Hey Steve:

The "Official" thread is over on Stangfix. Consider this one as a "save the date" post !!

The NorCal folks will be driving down on Friday. Some will be flying in for the weekend (Vinny & Toni, Glenn & Dawn, Kelly, Dana, &? .........) The only changes I am aware of is that the event itself is a couple of weeks later than usual so schedule conflicts might be an issue for some and the entry driveway into the show field will apparently be on Beach Blvd rather than Stanton this year.

Look forward to seeing you and the rest of the Knott's regulars.

Regards, Jeff

Thanks Jeff,

I'll head over to Stangfix and look up the details. What hotel is everybody staying at this year?

Who else is going from VMF? I am considering printing some of the VMF placards and laminating for the show with people "handles" on them.

it is the most I spend on a show. But I wouldn't miss it. Its a full day of Fords and fun, and friends. Love it

I'll be there wandering the show but sans a Mustang. I registered my '48 F-1...
that'll be in the truck area.

The show is next weekend already! Who's going! This is my favorite show. Even though some of my favorite people won't be there. If you are not bringing a car, then come check it out. So many cars!

I assume that I must be one of your favorite people, since I won't be there

Really though, I am super jealous of you guys and wish that I was going to be there instead of defending my thesis for a silly Master's degree...
