I'm looking for some recommendations on front wheel size for a 1970 mustang. It seems like everything I have seen on the formum most people have 17x8s on the front however I do not have power steering. Does anyone have 17x7s or does it not make a difference running 17x8s?
I run 17x8 Coy C67 wheels with 255/40/17 Nitto NT05 tires at each corner on my '69 convertible. She's lowered, fender lips haven't been rolled, and not rubbing!
I don't think the extra inch is going to make a big difference in manual steering effort. That said, I don't have first person experience, that's just what I've heard.
