The build date on '65GTFB is close to my BD in '66. Didn't plan it that way. Just landed in my lap - seriously.

Our 66 convertible was built 8/8/66. My daughters birthday is 8/8/99. When I brought the car home last year and she said that is my dream car (in red of course). She thinks the car is destined for her. She is partially right....I'l give it to her when I die.

66 Convertible. Full restoration in the works

Not sure of the month they were built, but years before my wife and I met, by chance, we each had mustang's as our first cars... mine an '82, I was born in '82 and hers an '80, which she was born in. Kinda funny as she only lived in the next small town over, and as far as we can remember, we never noticed each other.

Head on collision killed hers, salted minnesota roads killed mine. Still really miss my four eyed fox. Will likely own another some day

I thought it was in the Ford family. That's a beautiful car. I've loved Lincolns for years, does yours have the v12 or v8?

I think I'd like to have one of these Mustangs, but I think they were still in their testing phase back then.
